PTC strengthens industry-academe linkages

APRIL 25, 2025

In an effort to solidify its commitment to nurturing future talent and strengthening its talent pipeline, the PTC Talent Acquisition Group (TAG) embarked on a significant series of university visits on April 11. Chino Morri Hernandez, PTC TAG Support Officer, and Jessie James Estanislao, PTC-TAG Talent Acquisition Assistant, led these initiatives with visits to Our Lady of Fatima University in Valenzuela, University of Perpetual Help in Bacoor, and FEU Institute of Technology in Manila.

The primary goal of these visits was to build connections with universities renowned for their maritime and engineering courses, as well as other fields that are particularly crucial to the industries served by The PTC Group. During their visits, the PTC-TAG team met with representatives from the Career Placement and Alumni Relations offices and briefly discussed future collaborative strategies to better align academic offerings with the evolving demands of the job market. They also informed them about internships and training programs offered by The PTC Group, which their students from various courses can take advantage of to gain hands-on experience and build professional networks.

By engaging with these key stakeholders, PTC-TAG's strategic university visits underscore the importance of collaboration with educational institutions in developing career-ready graduates. These efforts aim to ensure that academic programs are aligned with industry needs, thereby providing students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for success. By fostering these connections, The PTC Group continues to exemplify its role as a proactive partner in education and career development, committed to helping students realize their full potential and embark on successful professional journeys.
